Canadian facility helps charity for kids

Great Lakes Electronics Corporation in conjunction with e-Waste Recycling, Inc. of Tilbury, Ontario, Canada, has partnered with the Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW) to help underprivileged kids get computers to use. “CAW Local 200 Computers For Kids” is an organization comprised of working people reaching out, in order to fill an important need in the education of the children in our communities.  The goal of the Computers For Kids program is to provide an opportunity for computer literacy to all of the young people in our community.  E-Waste Recycling collects material deemed unusable from the program’s refurbishing process and delivers them, for proper disposal, to Great Lakes Electronics Corp. facility in Detroit.
